What it does

Intent first. Results kept apart.

The app does not run an LLM or copy your notes into its own database. It works directly with the folders you select.

  1. 01

    Human workspace: your originals

    Write Human notes with CodeMirror 6 and GFM rendering. Autosave every 500 ms, atomic writes, and external-change protection keep the file safe. The filename is the document title.

    • New documents start with created and updated timestamps and an empty body
    • Create, rename, move, and send files or folders to the Trash from keyboard-accessible context menus
    • Sort by latest update or title; switch the list between Full, Medium, and Simple density
  2. 02

    AI workspace: results, kept apart

    Open multiple AI folders as tabs. Pin frequent roots with a one- or two-character label and restore each folder's document session when you come back.

    • AI folders allow Markdown editing and new documents, but no other structural file operations
    • Closing a tab changes only app settings; it never deletes the folder or its files
    • Scanning respects .gitignore and .ignore and skips hidden paths and symlinks

    Edit → View → Split

    Keep several documents open and move each one through Edit, View, and Split. Human documents start in Edit; AI documents start in View.

    • ⌘F or Ctrl+F finds text in the current document with highlighted matches in every mode
    • Root-relative local images render up to 10 MiB
    • Export the current rendered document as a PDF
  4. 04

    Local by design

    Every selected root is canonicalized and file operations stay inside that boundary. Human deletion uses the macOS Trash instead of permanent removal. Settings live in the OS app-data directory.

    • No built-in LLM runtime, no accounts, no sync
    • Nothing is copied into an app database; the Markdown files are the source
    • Workspace-wide search, tags, and backlinks are outside the current scope

    Small, finished details

    Three panes, two panes, or content-only mode. English and Korean UI, four themes, four Human/AI color palettes, and two writing typefaces.

    • ⌘1 toggles the folder pane, ⌘2 toggles content-only mode
    • Signed and notarized DMGs for Apple silicon and Intel on every release
    • Built with Tauri 2 and Rust, React 19, TypeScript, and CodeMirror 6

Install

Install the signed macOS app with Homebrew, or download a DMG from the Releases page.
